Residual Stresses in Tungsten Thin Films for Single Photon Detectors

The residual stress in 20 nm thick tungsten films deposited on silicon substrate by dc magnetron sputtering is investigated. The sample was held in a continuous flow cryostat, which was capable of achieving temperatures as low as 8 K. The cryostat was mounted on a goniometer to enable the angle-dispersive x-ray diffraction measurements. X-ray diffraction was used to monitor the shift of the α-W {110} Bragg reflection at room temperature and 8 K. From the shift of the {110} Bragg reflection, the total residual stress was estimated at about 6.0 GPa. After applying corrections for the thermal stress in the film, the residual intrinsic stress is estimated at 5.8 GPa

Efektifitas dan Efisiensi Biaya Logistik Angkutan Udara di Bandar Udara Soekarno- Hatta

Biaya pengiriman kargo dan pos udara di Indonesia paling mahal diantara negara-negara ASEAN lainnya. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam pengiriman logistik/kargo yang berdampak membengkaknya biaya dengan proses yang lebih lama dibandingkan di luar negeri. Dari hal tersebut diatas maka perlu dilakukan penelitian efektifitas dan efisiensi logistik angkutan udara di Bandar udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta. Untuk melihat efisiensi penanganan kargo udara maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa perhitungan tarif biaya logistic kedatangan logistik/kargo dan alur atau proses penanganan logistik/kargo sampai dengan dinyatakan lengkap dan keluar dari terminal kargo. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kedatangan logistik/kargo dinyatakan efisien apabila barang tersebut mempunyai dokumen yang lengkap dan segera diambil sehingga tidak perlu mengeluarkan tambahan biaya sewa gudang.[Effectiveness and Efficiency of Air Transport Logistic in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport] The cost of airmail and cargo shipment in Indonesia is the most expensive among the other countries in ASEAN. High cost and longer processing time are affected by below average logistic handling/delivery effectivity and efficiency. Therefore, study for air logistic effectivity and efficiency in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport need to be done. In order to determine the efficiency of air logistic, analysis of logistic cost calculation and logistic handling flow/process is applied. The results of this study conclude that logistic delivery can be stated as efficient when the cargo documents are complete and the cargo picked immediately so that the extra expense for warehouse can be neglected

Penerapan Cognitive-behavioural Therapy Untuk Menurunkan Gejala-gejala Generalized Anxiety Disorder Pada Remaja

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efek penerapan cognitivebehaviouraltherapy (CBT) untuk menurunkan gejala-gejala generalized anxiety disorder(GAD) pada remaja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja berusia 16 tahun yangmempunyai satu atau lebih gejala-gejala GAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan single subject design dengan ABA-Follow Up design. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala self-report yang disusun berdasarkan gejala-gejala padakriteria diagnostik GAD. Analisis data gejala-gejala GAD ini dilihat dari grafik hasil baseline, treatment, baseline, dan follow up. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, bahwa penerapan CBT dapat menurunkan gejala-gejala GAD pada remaja.Save to Mendele

Generating a Schr\"odinger-cat-like state via a coherent superposition of photonic operations

We propose an optical scheme to generate a superposition of coherent states with enhanced size adopting an interferometric setting at the single-photon level currently available in the laboratory. Our scheme employs a nondegenerate optical parametric amplifier together with two beam splitters so that the detection of single photons at the output conditionally implements the desired superposition of second-order photonic operations. We analyze our proposed scheme by considering realistic on-off photodetectors with nonideal efficiency in heralding the success of conditional events. A high-quality performance of our scheme is demonstrated in view of various criteria such as quantum fidelity, mean output energy, and measure of quantum interference
